Vocation to religious life
Being called to religious life means serving God and people in a special way. In the daily rhythm of life, prayer and work alternate. As a woman or man, you live in a smaller or larger community of like-minded individuals with whom you share your life. Religious individuals make a series of vows (or religious promises).

These vows primarily include poverty, chastity, and obedience. They are an expression of a deep devotion to God and serve to promote a way of life centered on love, service, and community. Through these vows, a space is created in which religious individuals can unfold their personal vocation and live in close connection with God and the community.
