Katholischer wird's nicht!

1,8 Millionen Katholiken, über 500 Gemeinden, mehr als1.500 Priester, Diakone, Seelsorger:innen und Ordensleute - unendlich viele Möglichkeiten, deinen Glauben zu leben.

Neben Jugendkirchen, Hochschulgemeinden und geistlichen Zentren bieten unsere internationalen Gemeinden Gottesdienste und Seelsorge in verschiedenen Sprachen an, um Menschen unterschiedlicher Herkunft und Kulturen zusammenzubringen. In unseren Jugendgruppen und Verbänden kannst du deinen Glauben vertiefen, neue Freundschaften knüpfen und dich persönlich weiterentwickeln.

Das Erzbistum Köln ist ein Ort der Begegnung, an dem Menschen unterschiedlicher Kulturen und Hintergründe zusammenkommen, um den katholischen Glauben zu leben und zu feiern. Egal woher du kommst, welche Muttersprache du sprichst oder welche kulturelle Prägung du hast - bei uns findest du ein offenes und inklusives Umfeld, in dem du deinen Glauben vertiefen kannst.

    Die Berufung zur Ehe und Familie wird oft durch eine tiefe Sehnsucht nach Liebe, einem Verlangen nach einem Leben in Gemeinschaft und dem Wunsch erkennbar, Kinder zu haben. Gebet, Reflexion und geistliche Begleitung können dir helfen, deine Berufung besser zu verstehen.
  • Is it bad if I'm in a relationship without being married?
    As Catholics, we believe in the sacred significance of marriage as a lifelong covenant before God. It is a sacrament based on love, fidelity, and commitment. However, that does not mean that having a relationship without being married is inherently "wrong." Each of us follows our own path and experiences different phases in life. It is important to act respectfully and responsibly in relationships. If you are in a relationship, you should consider your values and beliefs and ensure that your relationship is characterized by love, honesty, and mutual respect.
  • What role does faith play in marriage and the family?
    Faith plays a central role in marriage and family life. It is important for couples and families to pray together, receive the sacraments, and live out their faith in their daily lives. Faith provides strength, guidance, and the ability to overcome challenges.
  • If I choose marriage and family, can I achieve my personal goals and dreams?
    The decision to enter into marriage and start a family does not mean that you have to give up your personal goals and dreams. Instead, it is an invitation to share your dreams with your spouse and together build a fulfilling and meaningful future.
  • What can I do if I'm in a relationship and feel a calling to marriage?
    Marriage is a lifelong commitment based on unconditional love and fidelity. If you are already in a relationship, it is important to have an open and honest conversation with your partner about whether you both share this vision. You can pray together and engage in activities within the Church to gain clarity on whether you are on the same path ... ... and then, have the courage to take the next step!

Studiere an renommierten theologischen Fakultäten wie der staatlichen Universität Bonn oder der kirchlichen Kölner Hochschule für Katholische Theologie. Verbinde die Wissenschaft mit gelebtem Glauben und finde eine Heimat in unseren Gemeinden.

Unsere Berufseinführung in den Pastoralen Dienst gibt dir als Theologin oder Theologe eine umfassende Qualifizierung für die Tätigkeit in Seelsorge und Schule. Und als junger Mann lernst du in unserem Priesterseminar alles, was du für den Dienst an Gott und den Menschen brauchst.

Wir bieten dir eine tiefe Auseinandersetzung mit dem persönlichen Glauben, helfen dir, mit verschiedenen Spiritualitäten in Kontakt zu kommen und Freundschaften fürs Leben zu schließen. Dabei ist es uns ein Anliegen, dass du deine Muttersprache und deinen kulturellen Hintergrund in deine Ausbildung und deine berufliche Tätigkeit integrierst.

Was du dafür mitbringen solltest? Vor allem Neugierde und Spaß an deinem Glauben.
