Berufung zum Ständigen Diakonat

In unseren Gesellschaften werden viele Menschen benachteiligt, ausgeschlossen und leiden Not - finanziell, körperlich, geistig oder geistlich. Als Diakon ist deine Aufgabe, vor allem diesen Menschen zu helfen. Du unterstützt sie mit tatkräftigem Einsatz, mit Seelsorge und Gesprächen 

Benachteiligte, Ausgeschlossene und Notleidende und bewegst auch andere zum Helfen.

Als Diakon leitest du Begräbnisfeiern, predigst in Gottesdiensten, spendest die Taufe und assistierst bei Trauungen. Die Kirche lehrt, dass nur Männer zum Diakonat gerufen werden – verheiratet und unverheiratet, mit Kindern oder ohne Kinder. Als Diakon bist Du nicht zwingend hauptamtlich in der Seelsorge tätig: Die meisten üben ihren kirchlichen Dienst neben einem anderen Beruf aus.

If you are in a relationship, you should consider your values and beliefs and ensure that your relationship is characterized by love, honesty, and mutual respect.
  • What role does faith play in marriage and the family?
    Faith plays a central role in marriage and family life. It is important for couples and families to pray together, receive the sacraments, and live out their faith in their daily lives. Faith provides strength, guidance, and the ability to overcome challenges.
  • If I choose marriage and family, can I achieve my personal goals and dreams?
    The decision to enter into marriage and start a family does not mean that you have to give up your personal goals and dreams. Instead, it is an invitation to share your dreams with your spouse and together build a fulfilling and meaningful future.
  • What can I do if I'm in a relationship and feel a calling to marriage?
    Marriage is a lifelong commitment based on unconditional love and fidelity. If you are already in a relationship, it is important to have an open and honest conversation with your partner about whether you both share this vision. You can pray together and engage in activities within the Church to gain clarity on whether you are on the same path ... ... and then, have the courage to take the next step!
